Default What is the M/S gear for my BMW do?

It is an automatic, but when the stick is in D(drive) you can move it to the left, where a symbol of M/S and + or - appears... and you can add or minus like M1, M2, M3, etc. ... What is that for? racing?

M1 = manual 1st gear....M6 is manual 6th gearMD = Manual Driveand D = Drive in auto modebasically its shiftable automatic transmission. so that you can shift at the rpm you wish than what the computer does.its good for racing cause you are the best judge for the kinda track ur racing in.and for the need of the road etc.your bwn must have paddle shifters too to make the job easy doesn't it ?

M/S isn't Manual Shift!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!M= ManualS= Sport. When you first put your bmw into M/S, the car is in sports mode and will rev higher and perform more, and will remain in automatic transmission. If you proceed to flick your lever up and down you now have moved into Manual, where you choose when your bmw changes up and down gear.

It is a sport mode. You can use it like a SMG (sequential manual gearbox) however it won't allow you to make a shift that could potentially harm the engine.

Default 2013 ac problem

I previously posted that I have had 2x problem with my 2013 X3 AC, twice I brought it to the dealership in Macon, GA and both times they cannot find anything. Today the AC has no cool air coming out except air which is fairly warm and this is the third time since I bought my car in 2013. This is getting to be unerving..anybody out there experienced the same scenario. I am getting too frustrated especially today that we have 90 plus in middle GA and I have to travel...Please give me some advice, thanks.
